Learn the mesmerizing technique of mosaic knitting and create stunning patterns with ease. This class will teach you the basics of this simple yet impressive technique!
Mosaic knitting is an easy and fascinating way to do two-color work without stranding. Developed by the famed author and historian Barbara G. Walker, Mosaic Knitting is an easy and fun technique that generates complicated-looking two-colored patterns by working two rows in one color while slipping stitches and then alternating with a second color. Anyone who can knit and purl can quickly learn to create these striking patterns and use them in various projects.
In this fun-filled workshop, we will learn to read and work from mosaic charts. We will discuss when to slip and when to knit or purl. If you like simple work that looks complicated but is so much fun to do, then this is the class for you!
